At MEWS, we believe in the philosophy- a sound mind in a sound body encourages students to be a part of sports activities. Professional coaches and trainers are being engaged with a view to have an active sporting atmosphere in the beautifully landscaped eco-friendly campus. The glittering evening at MEWS when Class 10 is bid farewell is another day which is much awaited for. The outgoing students are duly invited in prescribed dress codes to attend the function held in their honor. The head boy/girl is usually given the platform to express the mixed feelings of achievement and separation which is always the highlight of the event. Some spice is added to give special flavor to the dance party by awarding students for various specifications.
Awards at the farewell-
Annual Function of any school is the culmination point of all school activities. It is the session’s round up where all achievements are shared with parents from a grand stage. Annual Function at Modern Prince is one of the gala events attracting not only its students but media as well as the city’s attention due to the heights of grandeur and magnificence attained by the cultural performances in this well timed and finely managed event.
The Annual Awards are the most important segment of the celebrations. These felicitations are the most coveted and prestigious for the young aspiring students. They are the best way of recognizing and bestowing praise and accolade to the deserving talents.
The applicants have to be outstanding in their fields for which they apply viz – sports, cultural and academics. On the basis of prospective achiever’s presentation and an over view of the Annual Award committee, the awardees are decided on merit criteria.
An educational tour is a part of the academic experience in most schools. Such tours help students to understand firsthand about various subjects.
For instance, schools may take students on educational tours to zoos and parks to acquaint them with flora and fauna. It is one thing to see the picture of an animal or a plant in a book and quite another to see it face to face.
